I had some front suspension issues with things hitting the sway bar/link. Took the links off. I can't really tell where the darn thing did that much.

Does that thing really matter on a CJ5? It handles like crap anyways. I haven't highway driven it yet, just wondering if there are road conditions that'll make me wish I had it.

the main difference the swaybar will make is when cornering, and esp at higher speeds... The jeep will want to roll more without one.. ofcourse that is depending on hte stiffness of the springs and shocks too

I haven't had a swaybar on my cj for a few years. I think the time you would notice it missing the most is during emergency avoidance maneuvers. Luckily, I haven't had any such circumstances, and don't really miss mine
