Who's going? I know of several from here that are going, just wanted to get an idea. Be nice to have our own group like we did last year.
The actual event takes place 29th of Sept till Oct 1st But the camp ground will be open to early arrivals on the 24th of September. My plan if it works out is to go up on the 24th, and wheel everyday, that is if upnover don't become brokebeyondrepair!
I plan on staying in the middle Field as I have for years, You can look for me in our new to us Blue van with a large silver tarp over it serving as a dry area for cooking and so on.
we are steadily working on getting everything ready. Have our portable shower ready for hot showers, port-a-potty if they are late with the port-a-johns, and all the other usually camping stuff.
Will also have the ready welder if anyone needs welding up, be it on the trail or back at camp. You might want to bring a few pieces of flat steel, angle iron and such in case we need it for a fix.
 
I am going up Thursday and wheel Friday and Sat.
I have a group that I hang with but I'll stop over and say hello.

Myself, Michael (ontharox) and my brother (garthf) will be making the pilgrimage from the RDU area monday the 25th and should be there around dinner. We should be ready to wheel first thing Tuesday morning. I imagine Ken/Crystal are going to be in your party too?

Kinda off topic a little, but...........

If I am able to keep my Jeep going the whole week I will need to ride into town one day to re-fill propane tanks. Anyone know of a good place to do this in Murphy?

My rigs out (towrig is dead & no way in #3LL I'm driving 12 hours in the Moss!), but have been talking to one of my vendors with a "new" '05 Rubi Unlimited that's itching to go bang it up... :shaking:

Are you going to be trailering up there? What tow rig and trail rig do you have??? Lets chat. I can show you that rock garden before the dixie run but we cant play on it yet.:lol:
 
i thought i already posted once but i guess im retared. im 100% coming and 75% coming with my jeep. got some wrenching to do on it and the towrig

Yup, not sure who ladybird is but sounds good. When can we expect to see your smiling face up there?

I'm going to pull the buggy with the tacoma. You can see a pic of the trail rig in my sig.

Shoot me a PM if you have more questions or when you're willing to give up the location of the unwheelable rock garden.
 
Sucks being broke!!!!

IF, I can get my Driveshafts in by then I will be there, if not I may show up for some help on Thursday and Friday. Gotta do the Anniversary thing that weekend. I may be pimping the saturn.:flipoff2:
 
The muddevils have a cozy mobile home rented by the river on davis creek rd. (turns into trail one) stop by tells lies and have a beer by the fire. We are probably gonna try to stay away from the crowds.
 
When you going up Greg? As of now the plan for us is to be there Sunday or Monday, some on Tuesday and so on. KInda looking for a simular group of guys as we did last year. How many Mud Devils are going?
 
Several of us are getting there on Weds night late. As of now we should have Thads CJ rockwells/44's, Georges cab truck rocks/49's, my buggy/ Geoffs cab truck/maybe another TJ on 42's/ maybe Jims buggy ...but I doubt it cause he's a punk and won't take it anywhere..lol

Why Would Jim not want to show off that beast on Portals at the dixie run??? That thing is kool as hell and works and runs and is together so why not bring it so he has something to drive. :confused:

We all wish we had big bada$$ rigs like the muddevils do.

PS. I can't wait to see the new 47 inch LTB's on someones rig in a picture or something.:bounce: :driver: :beer:
