dodge 5 lug to chevy 8 lug

which chevy 8lug? new or old? old chevy 8lug is not the same as the new. new is a metric lug pattern.

pretty sure it was just ford that switched

you will haveto get 2 piece adapters, because 1 bolt interferes with each other on the bolt patterns... you can find them all over the net, most are $$$$...

is there a reason to switch to 8 lug? it might be easier to swap the axle to 8 lug... what kind of dodge is it?

You could very easily swap some 3/4 or 1-tons under that thing.

Also, Chevy and Dodge have always been 8 on 6.5, Ford was the only one that switched to 8 on 170mm.

That's what I thought on the lug pattern and as for the swap, I'd try and find a set of axles from a 2500. They are out there and last I saw they weren't too bad on price.

I see it as a good excuse to upgrade :driver:

its a beach vehicle. not upgrading axles right now. any idea where i can find some wheels that are 16.5 on ramcharger 5lug? having hard time finding those without costing a damn fortune

Oooh...that would present a problem. H1 rims are always an option, they can be recentered to almost any bolt pattern.
