98 3500 ext cab nv4500 #10 plate and boost elbow. acording to web 215hp and 440 tq stock with plate 330hp and 750tq
looking at luk gold, sachs hd, valair stock and south bend stock. I know what the companys say but looking at some real work feedback. Started slipping stock clutch after fuel plate but had over 100,000 on it.I pull a 3 axle 18ft gooseneck with a tractor anywhere from 3,500 to 12,000 several times a year.

Towing, I would consider a street dd southbend with hydro upgrade, or a southbend ofe. The ofe is a great towing clutch. I ran a Luk and multiple failures followed.
Valair builds a good clutch. I've just always used southbend clutches and Peter has always been more than fair in regards to warranty.
If he will warranty a clutch that had 840+ thrown at it quite often, he will warranty any clutch within reason

Southbend all the way. I just put a DD in my truck. I have my old Southbend OFE for sale... $300 with the larger flywheel.

I have a Southbend 3250DD in my truck and love it. Peter at southbend is awesome to deal with and will back his product.
