We stuck a set of Dodge 1 ton axles under Kevins Blazer 60/70 combo that had 4.88's stock a while ago, have no idea what year it cam from, were trying to find two parts for it.

One is Hubs, its got the drive flanges on it now, were trying to find the selectable bolt on external hubs, anyone know where to buy those having a hard time searching for em.

Second is the yoke on the pinion for the ujoint. Its weird it doesnt have provisions to hold the ujoint in place side to side. Like nomally yokes have tabs or grooves the the ujoint sits in or at least grooves for snap ring, this one has nothing of the sort

Anyway can I just snag a yoke of like a chevy dana 60 or something and bolt it on?

Thanks

The hubs you need are Milemarker part number 11034-01, if you cant find them, let me know, I am sure I can. As for the yoke, the u joint is held in by the clips that are supposed to be on the caps. You can install any yoke that you like though.

My front axle is a late 70s dodge dana 60. The only locking hubs I have found that fit it are the milemarker selectros. I bought a used set from a guy off pirate that were in good shape....Broke them both at tellico.

I have a dodge dana 60 in the front of my CJ, it came out of a 80's model CUCV

anyway the yokes are crazy

it sounds like you have the same yokes I did

are they strap style?

they are not 1310, they are Chrysler 7260 yokes and takes a conversion u-joint

trash them, and get some yokes that JE reel makes, they sell them at

www.nv4500.com

as far as the external hubs, I have only found 2 sets

I bought and paid for 2 sets and only recieved 1 set

got ripped off on pirate

anyway I looked for over 6 months before I located another set

Oh you can find the conversion joints

I have 2 of them, but the caps and needle bearings are still down at the farm somewhere:shaking:

I dont see why a Chevy yoke wouldnt work

arent most of the 60's 29 spline?

All the 60s and 70s use 29 spline yokes. It doesn't really matter what it comes off of. I changed out my weird yokes with two yokes from dana 60s. The dodges use internal snaps to hold the u-joint in place. Try galloways or something; they have pretty good prices on used yokes. My dodge 60 front has the external lock-outs. It's a weak point on these axles, but oh well. Are those drive flanges you have in good condition?
