dodge towing mirrors

somebody help me out please. is there any real differance, between the flips outs for the second and third generation trucks? i've found a thousand sets for a second gen on ebay cheap, and was wondering if they'd fit my third gen? they look just the same but wanted to double check.

They probably have a different base.

I'm pretty sure that the mounting studs have different bolt patterns.

Bases are different...Oddly enough though the 2nd Gen dodge flipout mirrors fit nicely on 88-98 GM trucks, only have to drill one extra hole.
