Im in need of a new tcase for my 1998 2500 diesel truck (the casing broke) I know it came with a np241D, whats the difference between the 241,241D and 241HD? Theres a 241 i could use (see want ads) for the casing, and use all my internals if they are compatible.

The "D" just denotes it's for a Dodge... The DHD has a wider chain, is heavier, holds a little more fluid, I don't think it has a different spline count or anything, but I am not sure at all on that aspect, and whether it would bolt up in place of your 241D.
