DOES 1" MATTER?

I have a 2 door 2011 wrangler it has a 2" lift kit. I'm being told that raising it to three inches and putting sway bar disconnects will help when I go to 35" tires and I'm off chamber. By going three inch I don't have to change shocks or my steering like going to 4". does it make sense to spend this money?

I would go for a 1" body and MML lift instead.

They don't make 1" MML for a JK from what I have seen......

The body lift would not be a bad idea if that is all your budget will allow.

If it were mine, I would add the inch of suspension lift and drop the $$ on a good set of shocks. You will be happy with the performance upgrade of the discos when coupled with a good set of shocks.

I found with my JK that even going to 2" made my caster pretty bad and the jeep wandered a lot more on the road. I put adjustable lower control arms on it and that helped a ton. When I went to 3 " I had to re adjust again and ended up adding upper arms as well.

For the sake of budget I would do the 1" body. It wont hurt your COG that bad.

Assuming you are happy with your current 2" lift- I'd be tempted to leave it at 2" lift, add some swaybar discos and either trim the stock fenders or go with some aftermarket ones to fit your 35's!!!

I am doing 3.5" lift with all new adjustable control arms (will be running 35's) but, that's because I have a 4 door and want some more lift to improve my breakover angle. With a two door, I think a 2" lift is pretty right on for 35's!!!
