So Ive got the two latest Calallante maps from this site. I am targeting the newer section of TOTW and the AORC garden. Pretty sure I can get to TOTW, but I dont know which is the best way to get to the AORC place. Ride green all the way to where it splits at a Armor All- ok, then what? Is there a path that is 'wheeling, and a path that is 'limping?

Not laughing! Last time I was there in Feb I got lost :) Actually tried to find my way over there coming down the Skyline trail from Red/Yellow and also by going on Orange past Little Tellico. Used to you could go on Orange, past Little Tellico, to the five points intersection and go straight across on the trail that went slightly downhill, Helo pad on the right and you would see the AROC garden on the right. When I was there in Feb I ran into some new logging/sawmills that had rearranged the whole area. Ended up lost, one trail petered out and another brought me into someone's back yard :( Probably could find it at some point but I was by myself and didn't want ot push my luck. I know you've been up there as much as me, if not more, so with some scouting around you can probably find it. Easiest way to TOW and the old tower area is to take the main trail out of the parking lot going past the cabins like you are going to Welder and take a right on Red at the first big clearing where you would go left across the creek to stay on Green. TOW entrance is marked at the top of the hill at the Red/Yellow junction.

we have got to change the name of that rock garden. (no longer in AORC) actually nobody that rode that day myself. heepj7 and mountain ram are in aorc and we blazed that trail. when are you goin? my shits done and i wanna ride. im about like john. was almost lost after the logging when i went last. but his directions are pretty much on. if you can make it to the helicopter pad just head down hill behind it. and there it is.

me, Deebo, and Firetoy were up there some time ago, and completely lost a guy we were with.

He ran the trail beside Little Tellico (Welder?) and just kept going straight. He was gone for a LONG time. We waited around and just decided he found some other way back to the campsite...

As we were all airing up and Firetoy was loading back up he showed up. It was probably half an hour or more after we lost him

The big ugly yellow jeep... yeh that was me

no laughing here either. i took a wrong turn one time up there around sunset and ended up lost for more than an hour on 4 wheeler trails... we finally made it back out to a main road that connected to 321 around where the golf course is.
