Drive Shaft concerns.

This weekend going up rcky Mt loop. I got ahold of a rock.

Drive shaft is dented in four spots. looks straight still. and dosnt vibe at hwy speeds.

Would you get it replaced. or leave it?.

99 XJ 4.0 8.25 rear.

just out of curiosity, where were you in RML when you made contact with the driveshaft?

x2 on getting one made. Once you dent a shaft it will twist apart at the dents if you're beating on it in the future, and theres no telling what the broken end of the shaft whipping around will tear up till you get it stopped. Ive seen several dented shafts turn into twizzlers
