Driveshaft for T18 swap. Toyota anyone? How much Slip

I went junk yarding today. I snagged a CV shaft out of the front of a Toyota 4 runner. I have heard some really good things about Toyota shafts. Tempted to fit one in there.

Some questions.

Where can I get Toyota flanges for a 26spline D20, and a Dana 44? Do the 44 and the 26 spline D20, and a Dana 300 all use the same yokes?

How much slip do I need in the shaft? Spring under, 2.5" BDS springs. Nothing exotic.

The shaft I got looks like it might just be the right length when it's all said and done.

Any other comments and insights are welcome.

Thanks,
Andrew

No way I would go through all the trouble if there wasn't some Toyota in the driveline. The flanges will eat up any savings.

Plus, the '86+ 4-runner fronts are stronger, but have very limited angle range. The '85 and downs are smaller, but have the better range.

The later ones can be clearanced, though.. :)

Well here's the thing

I think in theory I'd only need one flange for the tcase. Isn't there an adapter U joint for toyota to Dana stuff that I could use in the rear to the Dana 44?

I eventually plan on putting Yota axles in there so the flanges might not be a waste of money.
