Driveshaft shortened in raleigh

go see Rufus at fleetpride on jones sausage road.
 
I'll point out a map.
Jones Sausage != RDU area.
(then again, I wouldn't call where he works RDU area either? I'd either say durham or RTP)

But that's cause I'm cheap and hate 440/40 with a passion.

meh I say rdu b/c I live a mile from the airport. Fleetpride is about 13 miles from my house so not too shabby.

I was pleased with fleetprides's work but very unpleased with their price. If cost is an issue, I'd do a phone check to see what a few more miles will buy ya... Everywhere I got quotes after being bent over by FP was around $60-$80. FP charged me $168 for a shortening. That was like 6 years ago. I found the reciept while packing to move to hang onto to rage against the overpriced bastards.

Call Triangle Driveshaft 688-2544 or just DIY cut and weld it back ...:beer:
 
Fleetpride has gone down hill fast, quality & price both suck. I just had a few driveshafts modified by them, the one was 1.25" too short, the other looked like a 5 year old welded it, the weld didnt even penetrate it was just sitting on top boogar'd. Ill never do business with them again.
