Dual triangulate four link

I can't say Ive completely built one, but I have made significant changes and modifications to both the front and rear 5link on my TJ. I agree with you, but look at the kits available from some of the major manufacturers and you will see stuff that is exactly what Im referring to.

This pointless..... Just go try having both triangles (upper and lower) converge at the frame end, and take pictures when it rips off or you run off a hill because it can't drive in a straight line.

I think this statement actually clear this up. They don't both converge at the frame end. The lowers converge at the frame while the uppers converge on the axle. I am not sure you could physically build both of them to converge at the frame end since there is a motor and transmission where the upper mounts would need to go.

Sure there has been some what of a pissing match going on, but I think it has brought out some interesting view points. I thank everyone for their input. Of course now I have to figure out how to get the coilovers in there to....

:flipoff2:

If you have enough room do a three link upper wishbone mount. Like this maybe. Just make sure your heim on the top is up to the task. That is a 1.5" QA1 heim on this one.

I am not a big fan of the wishbone setups. There is a single failure point and then you are dead in the water. I have really bad luck and I am trying to make sure that I am built to have the fewest things to worry about when I make trips to paragon, rausch, and moab. I do love those jackstands though. I need to build me some of those. Do you have any details on tube size?

Sorry I don't have the details on them. They are not mine. Good luck.
