I was wondering if it would be possible to convert a 1-ton dually axle to normal 2 wheels, and would it be worth it?
i may be buying a cheap truck for the engine, and i was wondering if it would be worth the time and effort to convert the rear axle to non dually

it all depends on the widths you are wanting.... IIRC the dually hubs are narrower then the single hubs.... C&C 14b is SRW axle with dually hubs, SRW axle is SRW w/ SRW hubs, DRW axle is DRW w/ DRW hubs, van width is DRW axle w/ SRW hubs... i think thats right

you should be able to swap out the DRW hubs for the SRW hubs... just make sure the new hubs are for the axle you have and not a different FF

For a rear dually axle...Just put regular wheels on it...

No conversion necessary....depending on front axle width, you may need to consider wheel backspacing or spacers.
