LOL!

I've been considering a pair of their "firehose" workpants. They seem to have a solid following. I just saw this commercial for the ballroom jeans this afternoon. I lollered.

And yes, I know I misspelled Duluth. Meant to change that.

Thats a pretty great name for those jeans. At first I thought it was gay because they were designed for ballroom dancing. Then I said duh.

My Dad always said tight pants are like a cheap motel....no ballroom. I think that's why I found the commercial so funny. Reminded me of the old man.

I too am planning on getting some of those firehose workpants....just wondering how hot they are going to be. Lifetime replacement tho?? How does that work

My dad bought a pair of the fire hose pants to wear while working on his roof so his legs didn't get all burned up.

And now, he changed all his pants to Duluth Co pants. He loves the gusset they put in and won't buy anything else now.

Dunno about Duluth, but I've got a couple pair of Arborwear pants, one denim and one duck. They've got the extra panel in the crotch. I've got pretty big thighs, and I've got no problem stepping up onto a trailer or into the truck bed with them on. Forget about doing that in Carhartts.

Just got Shawn a couple of new pairs of the Arborwear pants from Tobacco Road Outdoors in Apex. The guy there, Brad is his name, had to order them for me (they carry them but didn't have the size in stock) and he was really helpful.

I got a pair of the firehose cargos for xmas....freakin love em, but the damn zipper wont stay up

That's normal w/the heavy YKK zipper on Carhartts, Arborwear, etc. Take a pair of needle nose pliers and pinch the trolley part of the zipper right near the top so that it bites a little on the teeth as it goes by.

You should only have to do one side. And not too tight -- do it little by little until it pinches enough to stay up. If you get it too tight, you'll need pliers to get in and out of them until the trolley self-clearances.

We've been trying to figure out how long I've had my old Arborwear pants. 2004 sounds about right. And they're still in good shape... except that my wallet is starting to show through on the denim pair. I wish I could find a pair of dress pants that held up half as well.

I have some Riggs Workwear jeans w a diamond shaped gusset and they are great for hiking or walking in the woods stepping over logs, jumping creeks and ease of movement on hills and such. They also are very comfortable on the cods on long trips in the truckseat! unlike most other jeans:driver:
