RE: ECORS Season 1 The Culmination Update
Hey guys, hope everyone is doing well.
I have just a couple of quick updates here as the date draws nearer, as well a couple of announcements and a teaser or two. R3Event Management and East Coast offroad racing Series continue to push the envelope in delivering the most exciting and best racing action anywhere, and to do it right here in our own back yard.
First I want to remind everyone that there is 1 week left to register for the year end event. Registration will close promptly at 11:59 pm on Thursday November 11, 2010. Anyone not signed up at that time will not be able to compete in the race, however if you need to make payment arrangements with us (I know several do not have paypal and our credit card processing is til in the works) and pay at the track just get in touch with me or Rob and we will get you the registration link and have your packet ready awaiting payment at the gate.
Next a heads up for any who may not have heard we will be having a freestyle jump contest following the last race Saturday night. This is open competition to racers, and fans alike any 4 wheeled vehicle can enter (even a camry if you have one) and someone is going to walk away with some major bragging rights, while we all enjoy a great show.
Also for the first time ever in an ECORS event ALL Classes will be starting 2x2 Heads up Drag Race Style. This was such a hit for the C class guys at Harlan we are expanding it to our A and B racers as well. We even have the course specially designed to stat out with a 1/4-mile plus launch zone into a hard single wide bottle neck...when the green flag drops its go time.
For those that are thinking, been there, done that..we have doubled the length of the course from March, and added lots of new challenges....very little remains the same and several new areas will be added, including a few never before ridden sections...you can't miss this. Come check it out.
Finally we will be having a top secret exhibition that day as well that will only be available for those on site that may hint towards a new addition for next season....I can't tell you any more about this but you do NOT WANT TO MISS IT.
That's all for now, can't wait to see everyone again...It's almost race time!!!!
See ya at the race,
Ron
