I just wanted to give a huge thanks to whoever it was that provided the bearing/hub to get my trailer off the side of I-40 tonight. Let me know who you are, and I'd be happy to paypal you for the hub, or at the very least bring a case of your favorite beer to the next race.

Also, 4BangerTJ was a lifesaver. He was the first of many ECORS racers/spectators to stop and offer assistance. He made the call that got me the bearing and spent the better part of a couple hours on the side of I-40 helping me get it put back together. Jason is a stand up dude, and I hope I get the chance to return the favor sometime.

You are very welcome for the help man, i do think a couple of those semis rollin by were in touching distance.Im glad you made it home safe and trailer in one piece. and thanks to joe (mudder) for hitting up ricky to help find that hub.

I heard it over the radio. Offered to help where ever I could and then... next thing I know someone is on it.

Glad you made it home safe. Glad to rub shoulders with some decent folks.

Rob the ecors guy is the one that lead me to the hub. He will know who's exactly it belonged to. Glad I could be of assistance. And yeah, some of those semi's got a little to close for me. And it was a good learning experience for me to, I learned how sand in certain places is actually good for roadside bearing repair, and this little sweet mod:

glad you made it home also sorry we didnt get there any earlier to help out anymore than we did....well at least chris helped man the hi lift for you!!

glad it all worked out. I was planning on stopping at the first rest area for a footwear swap. As soon as I got on the highway, I realized I was still wearing my boots and nasty socks. My sandals were teasing me sitting in the passenger side footwell, just out of reach.

Is that your hardship story from the ride home? Some people can't catch a break.

Oh, I didn't realize that was you with Chris. Sorry I never got a chance to actually introduce myself.

Sean Rose had the hub...he was upside down on the bounty hill giving directions to folks for where it was in his stuff if I remember correctly.
