EGR Delete in 6.0

whats the best brand or egr delete kit for a 6.0? first diesel and am wanting to do the delete. also if doing a turbo back exaust which is better 4" or 5"
 
if you delete the EGR get the cooler out of there also.
 
5" exhaust is better (IMO), but you may have some clearance issues around the bottom of the cab/firewall. Mine sometimes vibrates and rubs the firewall. A little adjusting every so often and its OK but it does take a little adjusting. Some brands fit better than others too.
 
who has good deals on the egr and cooler delete kits?
 
I am a diesel tech at Green Ford and the nicest and cleanest get out there is made my bulletproofegr.com. What i like best about this kit is it deletes the egr and cooler but looks like nothing has never been changed. If you building a wild 6.0 then you need five but it you just doing a tuner four inch is all you need. There is a such thing as too big and you will hurt yourself with a 5". Trust me I have built alot of these. Also when doing a egr delete you will have to get a tuner to keep the truck from throwing check engine light. A good turner that wont blow the motor all to hell is SCT.
 
thanks man i was already planning on using the sct tuner. thanks for the info. about how long does the egr delete take to do ? i'm a do it myself kind of guy so it'd prob be a saturday kind of project
