Does anyone know if the eight lug outers(hubs, spindles, etc.) on the F-250s with the TTB crap, can be used on a regular dana 44 or do all the the TTB trucks have dana 50 stuff . Ive got a j-10 D44 that im wanting to convert to 8 lug and my buddys got a F-250 parts truck that i can prob get the outers off of. Im would just like to know if it'd work before i go through the trouble of pulling all the stuff off.

No TTB stuff bolts on to a straight axle. The spindle bolt patterns are different, and the balljoint spacing on the knuckles is different also.

Chevy stuff uses the same spindle bolt pattern as the 1/2 ton TTB D44 stuff, so you can put 8-lug 3/4 ton Chevy outers on a 1/2 ton TTB Ford (or 5 on 5.5 on a Chevy, maybe). Should be the same with 6-lug Chevy parts, too.

The 3/4 ton TTB stuff shares more in common with the Ford D60... spindles are similar, but the boss on the back of the spindle isn't as deep, so it doesn't catch the knuckle on a D60. It'll work in a pinch, but you don't get the extra strength from the boss pressing into the knuckle. Hubs and brakes are usually the same on F250 and F350. I've got a D50 TTB hub on my D60, in fact. F250.... or maybe E250 calipers, too.

Yeah, that first reply wasn't as clear as it should have been.

so if i found a TTB D44 i could or couldnt use the spindle and hubs. i didnt plan on using the knuckles, just the spindles(unless small bearing b/c my D44 alreadys has the small bearing spindles) and the eight lug hubs and maybe the Brake stuff.

You can not. 8-lug TTB D44 is similar to the D60 in terms of how the spindle attaches to the knuckle. It won't work with straight axle D44 parts.
