so the battery in my jeep is not charging.
i replaced the battery...battery cables...altenator...fuses and ECU (where the voltage regulator is)

and after all of that it still doesnt not charge.

i checked all of the grounds and they are all good...so the only thing i can think of is the fusable link for the altenator got fried....but i dont know where that is. doesnt anybody know where that is on a 91 jeep cherokee 4.0?

check continuity from positive cable to the alt charge wire ( the single large wire on the back) follow that wire the fusible link is generally in that run.

Where does the hot wire off the alternator run from the Alt? if it runs to the starter the fusible link is usually AT that starter end. if it runs directly from the alt to the battery, it'll be in that run.

DO YOUR CONTINUITY CHECKS CAFEFULLY!!

it is possible Jeep may be a little different, but in general, this is how it works.
