Empty U-Haul to Boone

I'll be driving an empty U-Haul up to Boone from Sanford this coming Thursday, probably leaving around 8am if anybody needs something hauled up that way.

Coming back full, so no room on the return trip.
 
are you going up 421 all the way or going through Hickory ?
 
I have a kid who may be interested in a set of 35's I have for sale and Boone is only about an hour drive for him. How much fuel help do you need for this convenience???
 
I'm going to get a load of Christmas trees for a Scout troop. If he wants to throw in a few bucks (donation to the Scouts) for the ride, that's fine...either way, it's OK.

I'll be going to a place thats a couple of miles past Boone on 421, it's right across the highway from the Honda (motorcycle) shop. Should be there around 11am or so (can confirm later).

Call me tonight (before 10pm) or in the morning if it works out... I'll be picking up the truck at 9 a.m. (on US1 S of Tramway), stopping back by my house in Tramway (off US1 at Pendergrass Road, subdiv. behind the BP station), and leaving from there no later than about 9:30.
