Here's the short story; due to a cam & lifter failure, in my newly rebuilt AMC 360, the engine is contaminated with powered metal & bearing material. I need a crank kit, or a shop to regrind my crankshaft. Block needs to be vated too. The current shop I have the Jeep at, can do the tear down & assembly, If needed. Greatest problem right now is finding a crank grinder, & someone that is not 2 months or More, behind in work! Has anyone dealt with Concord Machine Shop? Prefer someone around the Charlotte area.

Just an up-date: in sorting out shops we don't know, along with parts, I've decided to take the long block back to the Kannapolis Speed Shop, who first built the engine. He will disassemble the entire engine, check & vat all parts & block, grind or replace the crank & bearings. Reassemble. Estimated a 5 week turn-a -round, but that's the same everywhere. Maybe sooner, as the Holidays & weather slows the Shops work load.
