i got a 91 jeep wrangler with a 4.0 liter in it.i washed it the other day and sprayed off the engine real quick cause it was a little muddy.i got in my jeep and started to drive off and then it started sputering and the check engine light came on. i thought it was a little water in the distributor but it was completly dry.when i come to a stop or take my foot off the gas it wants to shut off i have no clue what it is.i checked everything to see if i knocked a sensor loose or something came unhooked but everthing was fine.i was wondering if anyone could give me some advice or even better wants to come by and take a look at it for me.i can't drive and when it will start it won't run for long i have no clue what it is that is wrong. thanks drew

Old plug/coil wires? High voltage loves wet grounds.
Try running it at night and observe the plug wires. The darker the better. My be surprised what you see!

Put some gas it the tank...:D
