what the best exhaust cut out on the market.. im more leaning towards the cable activated but im looking for a good product with a good price any suggestions??

thanks Ben

cut a hole in your pipe, bolt on a plate with wingnuts...viola...

if you want to close for streets, and open for trails...this is the cheapest and most fail-proof method.

if you want to be able to open it up to exhaust-scream at ricers on the streets, then close it again...the electronic or cable is better

whats your goal with your cut-outs

Aight I've ran all three so here's my 2 cent's:

Do not ever run the cable pulls, they leak and sound like crap and I had barley had mine on for a month and the frikin thing broke.

The electric ones are good, they simply bolt onto the y pipes that you can buy that normaly have the wingnut plates to cap them off.

Only issue with them is don't ever go offroad with them, everytime i got them wet they died, even after slobbing silicone/rtv almost everywhere I could think of if they got wet they said bye bye.

And def mount them precat, its a waste of money to spend all that on cutouts that are still partially muffled by the cat.

awsome thanks for all the help.. the only thing that was leaning me toward the cable kind was becasue i heard its a real pain to swich the bolt kind is this true??

not if you can get under the truck/jeep/car... three wing nuts :)

Install a Warlock muffler. It's got a plug you can remove when you want it open, plug it back in when you want to be legal.

Had them on my stang...deep mellow then 3 wings nut per muffler and BAM

I had to put the stang up on the lift to un-cap...on a 4x4 I would be happy yo use them. They are also pretty thick cased
