Exhaust for a Chevy 6.0

I have a 04 Yukon XL with the 6.0. The muffler is popping after it gets hot so I am thinking a new exhaust is in order. This is my DD and my family hauler so I don't want something too loud, but I do want a good sound, so what do you recommend?

magna flow or gibson both make good exhaust cat back kits for these that sound good with no highway "drone". have a fairly quiet idle but good deep sound when you call on it with out to much of loud rumble. Flowmaster makes a kit also that is cheaper but my exsperience is they have alot more drone just crusing and get louder over time.

As long as you get a higher number flowmasters they will be more tame. Besides that if you have a little loot to drop go with the magnaflow

I had dual in dual out magnaflow and loved it. Interstate had a little bit louder than stock but when you got on it sounds deep and not annoying.
