Exhaust manifold problems

I am having trouble getting my down pipe to bolt to my exahust manifold on my heep. It is a 88 yj 4.2L and I am going to have to retap the studs coming out of the exhaust manifold. Does anyone happen to know what size studs those are and any quick fixes I may not be thinking about. I dont want to have to take the exhaust completely off, so if I can just retap the studs I will.

Somebody has gotta know what size these are.

HELP!!!
 
Pick you up a pitch guage, If I had to guess it would be 3/8" or 5/16" coarse, I'm not sure what year they went to Metric. Do you need to tap or die?
 
If you are just having issues with the nut spinning on the stud, make sure you are using the correct nut. If you are sure of that you need a die, not a tap to chase the threads. and like was said before, some sort of lube while you do it. When you install, use the copper anti-seize to keep it removable.
