School me on exhaust wraps.

I'm thinking about doing it to a 2 foot section of the exhaust that runs near the passenger side floorboard area of my buggy. It's close enough to the floor and tranny tunnel that it gets warm to the touch.

Rk.. I have had good luck with running the header wrap from jegs... just take your time and use plenty of stainless ties to keep it together... You may wan to put some heat reflective panels on the bottom of the tub as well... PJ

I don't want to steal RK's thunder here, but I am having some issues with my motor home.
Seems I am cooking the spark plug wires. Actually, not all of them, just the two middle ones on both sides. It has a ram horn type manifold and the wires are very close to the manifold. I put some of those wire cover things on them, but still cooked them.

ideas?

a metal heat shield

Other tip is go to the local exhaust shop and get there take off bendable heat shields. They come on the ford trucks I know looks like 10-12 layers of foil. Mount it to the underside of the floor board and wheel out!!!
