I’m Looking for a couple of pieces of expanded metal in decent shape.
The floor slats of my fat-scooter carrier work, but are a bit too far apart.
I need one piece roughly 4’x6’ and another about 3’x5’.

I get all my metal needs from Metal Supermarket. You can get full size stock or browse their cut off (drops) which they only charge for by the pound. I have a branch close by here in Raleigh. They have multiple branches across the state.
 
Check with Tri States Steel Retail store in Reidsville. I have been going there instead of Alro because their prices have been better and they will sell you only what you want. They will cut and do simple bends for free. Great people.
