If you have a trans temp gauge, and you are pulling a trailer, what does your gauge usually read. I have one and iv only seen it move one time. just trying to troubleshoot if it works or if my temp is getting up.

What year is this truck?? If it is the Ferd factory guage you wont see it change much. The factory unit only has 3 positions, cold, warm, and hot. If it gets over temp the guage will usually still show okay. Get a good aftermarket gauge and you will be in business. look for temps between 160 and 190 depending on load, hp, and tires size.
