Looking for some inspiration, ive searched the web before and didn't really come up with anything much.

Wanting to build a little winch bumper for my 78 250 beater truck. Have a couple winch options. I like the look of a 8274 (already have) on something of this vintage. Thought about starting with something like barnes universal plate weather I use a 8274 or more traditional low profile winch. Don't need alot of front end protection, this isnt a wheeler. It's a diesel fuel hauler, kayak toter, bird hunting truck. So please help me find some inspiration for my project.

Here's what I'm starting with

I figure instead of the hitch receptacle…just cut and create mounting flats.
Yep. May have to extend it forward an inch or two to get enough depth also, but looks doable.

Looks like these guys making a version close to what @WARRIORWELDING posted.

I'd bet a dime to a dollar @LT1JEEP has one somewhere on his property. It was great to finally meet him this summer and get to hunt for a part.

I have 2 fords and a chevy bumper like that and several 8274 winches but they are a different story. I will have to go look at the fords it has been a while since i have seen them one is on a late 80's ford f250 and the other one came off a 1974 ford f350 i have it in a shipping container can't remember what winch it has on it. It is hard for this horder to sell something i like but i don't need.
