The stock Merc steering box on my TJ has reached the end of it's life and rather than spending $800 for another Mopar Merc box or the downtime of sending it in for a rebuild for $250 (it's a dd), I'm wanting to replace it with a Durango box, in anticipation of future 37's. To do that on my late model, I have to have the frame modified to run the Saginaw pattern, relocating one of the sleeves slightly.
Anybody know any solid places to have this professionally done in Raleigh? The closer to NCSU campus the better. The box is really trashed so the short distance = less opportunity to wobble.
