Well....as I'm a bit lazy or actually super busy working...I'm thinking to pay someone to install some axles and a lift kit on my 97 TJ.

It kills me to think of paying someone as I typically do all my own work, but....I don't seem to have the time.

Got a question - Who to recommend and How much to install the following?

Front

Remove old Dana 30, Install new to me Dana 30 (no brake swapping needed, full axle)
3" Springs, 3/4" Spacers, Shocks, 2" RE bumpstops, RE Braided Brake Lines, Adjustable Upper and Fixed Lower Control Arms, RE Trackbar

Rear

Remove old Dana 35, Install new to me 8.8 (no brake swapping needed, full axle with TJ Mounts and swaybar)
3" Springs, Shocks, 2" RE Bumpstops, Adjustable Upper and Fixed Lower Control Arms, Adj Trackbar.

Body/Motor

1" Motor Mount Lift
1" Body Lift
OE Replacement Cat
Dynomax Cat Back Exhaust

What do you think all of the above would be laborwise and who would do it? (I'm in North Charlotte area)

Or maybe a wrenching party at my house....beer and steak??..

Thanks in advance guys!!

Id say $200 bucks for all of it. call alex @ carolina truggies. Better bring him a steak too for that price.

LOL

I'd say he should pack knee pads at that price.

Thanks everyone for the feedback, gotta fly to Calif for a week on business - I'll be replying to many throughout the week.

Decisions...Decisions....

damn, I wouldnt even look at it for that. dude, you should take CASH and not ask for a receipt if you get my drift.

Cash in king in my world...no receipts needed. I see you live close - I'm about a mile from Huntersvillle - drop me a line if this would be something you're interested in.

thx.

what Im saying is that you should take it to whomever would do it for $200. and take them cash so the damn gubment :fuck-you:wont take half of that.

Definitely Cash is king.
$200 cash is the equivalent to more than $500 at a shop. Overhead, 50+% in taxes and regulatory costs.

Sounds lke a lot of work for 200 bucks. If you find someone that does a good job for that price...let me know...I will come up with 500 bucks and get a buggy built.

I'd be more than willing to take care of it for you, but looks like there are plenty of other guys willing to do it for cheaper than me, so go for it.

Let me know if i can help though.
