Fall Crawl in Harlan weekend of Oct 22nd

who all is going to the fall crawl. we are heading up wednesday and staying through monday. got campsite reserved behind dairy hut in south evarts and the lady said they are filling up fast. the fall crawl is always a huge event
 
We'll have 8-10 rigs in our group. Buggy's, truggy's & jeeps all ready to show up and work on junk:lol: Hoping for good weather & slick trails!
 
awesome be sure to look for me and my wife, we will be in our yj's we will be staying in lot 7 behind dairy hut

Hopefully ill be there not sure yet tho kinda without trailer and dont wanna drive jeep with front locked now tires cost to much!!! anyone comin through va on 81 with trailer space gimme a shout!!! lol
 
Ill be there if I stop being a bitch and fix the XJ

well....me and wife have filed for divorce and i get both jeeps so more than likely i will be selling the white and purple one in future....i might stilll bring it to harlan for fall crawl weekend for a back up. but i am switching the 39.5s to my jeep and the 37's to it since its only on a built d44
 
I just told the woman about this and she informed me that we are going to the ASU home comming game that weeknd. Maybe someone will bring me back a T-shirt..lol

My fiance tried to pull something like that on me once. I told her I had made plans for months and was going anyway. I think she got the hint because I didn't talk to her much after that.

Come up the next weekend, thats when we are going to avoid the the traffic of the fall crawl weekend.
 
We'll be there from Thursday to Monday with 5 or 6 rigs. Looking forward to it!
 
kymc is back up and running and this is quoted from a moderator about events for fall crawl
"We are just doing the ride that weekend and no competions. We probally will have the fall crawl t shirts at bailey creek trail head. Will know for sure by thursday and let you all know......."

BIG LET DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!! sounds to me like poor planning. maybe someone other than kymc will step up and put on a few competitions or somthing on a few of the trails/obsticals being this event usually brings in people from all over the east coast.
 
If it ends up being slick there will likely be a show on every obstacle/trail at some point during the wknd. I've got a stupid amount of work to do on my jeep before then but it'll get done one way or another.

man...what a weekend. started by heading out on thursday afternoon. got all the way to marion VA from Raleigh and got into some fog and rain and crashed the tow rig into the back of a guy towing an empty horse trailer with no brake lights. great!:shaking:

left the dodge, trailer, and rig at a souther states off the next exit and hitched a ride back to greensboro to pick up another tow rig and then drove back to marion to hook it all up to that rig and finish the ride to harlan. got in late friday night exhausted, but did get to ride all day saturday.

insurance company is taking care of my Ram and working things out with the other driver (not sure what will come of that....considering he had no brake lights), but all in all...was an exhausting weekend, but in the end Dad and I did get to wheel all day saturday and had a great time!

will get the pictures dad took and post up a few later this week. hope everyone else had a good trip and hopefully had less trouble than I did getting there.
