few ?'s about rc

I have a friend that owes me some cash.. he said he would give me a 4-tec or a rtr tqi.. I know nothing g about these things.. looked up a few reviews.
He said the 4tec will do 60mph. And the rtr is a crawler and really slow.

What would you guys recommended? I don't know where I could drive the 4 tec and the back yard doesn't have much to crawl over with a slug.

I suppose which is more $ and/or fun
 
Dunno what's owed to you but I do know rc cars pretty well.
First if their in good condition ther worth 1/4-1/3 of their original value and that is the reason I never sell mine just run them till their wall hangers.
Also their money pits so just think really hard about how you plan to use it myself I'd take the crawler.

Don't know much about the value of these if your were to try to get some money out of them but I have some friends with them. As for the crawler, to some people they can be just as fun and addictive as real full size crawlers and you can quickly sink nearly the same amount of money in one!

I ended up getting the 4 tec and trading it for a e revo brushless with lots of extras
