Finally Got A Tow Rig

Ordered some stuff for it last week. I am gonna put in a tranny temperature gauge along with a shift improver kit. Fairly cheap and easy to do, or so it seems. Got a free Summit hat in the deal too. :)

All 110" of mirror-to-mirror goodness was on full display today.

Which was just enough to keep anyone from successfully navigating the alley behind my house while we unloaded.

Now it is time to get to work. I have two junkpiles in my driveway to finish prepping for Harlan. :rotflmao:

The Burb pulled great today. I was very happy and relieved to know this is definitely gonna work out for a tow rig. :)

Merry Fawking Christmas To Me!

The Burb got a well needed upgrade today. I had bought a trailer a couple months back that ended up being 3" too narrow. My first inclination was to cut the fenders off but then the side of me that absorbs my wife's thoughts took control and realized I was better off to sell it and get a new one. So, I spent a good hour or so talking to Bill Burke this afternoon. He is one hell of a guy. He went over all the details of the trailer I had ordered from him and told me why he did things they way he did. For those that don't know him, he is 64 and has been building trailers for 34 years. Next year he will be 65 and plans on retiring and taking on only a few trailer jobs to help augment his income. He gave me a hell of a deal on this trailer so those of you looking to get your own trailer I highly recommend giving Bill a call. Mine is a 7' x 18' w/ brakes on both axles, stowed ramps, swing up jack, and break away.
