What's the measurement from the ground to the bottom of the frame underneath? Looks tall.

I won't even go into the "tow rig".. :p

haven't measure yet. going to do a flat belly, then ill measure for ya.

and um, ya, just to make sure yall know, i didn't tow with the runner. just getting it ready for when the REAL tow rig arrives.

Looks Good

Looks Good!!

just load it up with a bunch of spare parts and gear, spare tire, etc put a big 'ol heavy winch on the front.....Wheel it some and those springs' settle out some....ask me how I know...

a bigger tire would work too, but it'll work fine....

could find ya a hefty spotter/wheelin companion...to ride along... :D

later,

Man that looks great. Hopefully one day my YJ will be able to play with the grown ups. :)

Looking at that pic with it on the trailer.. It looks HUGE! compared to the runner. I know pictures always add 3" right??

thanks everyone,
its ALWAYS good to here stuff like that.

hey nuts, thats next is a cage and then to DP to break some shit and get some respect. haha

Are you worried about the front axle? I would invest in some chromo's. Matt Pinkston just bought the Yukon chromo shafts and beefy u-joints and he does great with them. Just an idea to keep you from breaking stuff on the trail!

haven't broke it so im not to awfully worried.

i had 36s on a stock dana 30 with a detriot and only broke 1 ujoint so i should b alright.

Hard to break u-joints with no 4wd.

Let me know when you'll wheel it first, I wanna watch both joints pop like popcorn.. (Hint: a late model D30 uses the same u-joints you have)

But yeah, just get it on the trail! Just make sure it's a wide one.

rich he had a LP 30 with the early shafts i think...and he drives like a putang anyway :flipoff2:

I put a set of yukon shafts and joints in the trooper and after one trip I cant complain. We will see how they hold up over time though. The jeep looks good, but I would recomend looking for a new front axle. If nothing else just a chevy D44. Dodge hub bearings do not like big tires.

Looks good! Definately an "A" for eye appeal. Stock tank mounted in bed? I did the same but mounted it forward to fit a storage chest.

ya, stock tank for now. money has ran TIGHT

hey metty, i made it every u did and more though. thats all that mattered
