For the first time since the 4WD Hardware Meet and Greet the first weekend of June the Heep found it's way onto the trail again. Since the Meet and Greet I have gone from 33" BFG MTs to 35" TrXuS MTs, put in a new motor, 1" BL, 1" MML, new clutch, new radiator, and Staun internal beadlocks. I must say it was nice to have the Heep out again. Here are some pics from today's Beech Mountain pre-run:

i like it. who made the 1" bl?

I went with the MORE 1" BL kit. The kit came with a transfer case linkage bracket and an adapter/block to lift the steering shaft as well. The basic kit is just pucks and the system includes new poly body mounts.

Your jeep looks good. Makes me miss my old set of trXus mt's. Maybe I'm not schooled enough on beadlocks, but why the outer ring if you have internal beadlocks from staun?

Like Dave said, it stiffens up the wheel and protects the lip while also protecting the valve stems. Andy at CRS did a great job with the beadlocks.

Look like your having fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So are those new CAROLINA ROCK SHOP rock rings?? They look pretty good. I didn't know Andy made stuff like that. How much do they cost? A lot of company's offer and sell different kinds of weld on beadlock rings. Its all about STYLE and PREFERENCE. :D

They really aren't weld on beadlock rings Matt. They are just rock rings and have absolutely nothing to do with the beadlocks. The ring is there to stiffen up the wheel and protect the lip and valve stems. The beadlocks are the Staun internals. As for the price I don't think I asked Andy what the individual cost of the parts were so you would have to ask him.
