Well after a lot of research I got my axles installed. I went with a 44 and 9" combo. I used the old radius arms with a little fabrication. I still need to address the steering and brakes but I am getting closer to completion. I have some mock up 38x14.5's on it for the time being. I used Curries 2.5" johnny joints, TNT frame stiffners, Blue torch brackets for the joints, RK 6" coil springs, RK drop pitman arm, RK adjustable trac bar and drop bracket, Rusty's 6.5" rear springs minus 2 leafs and RC 2" lift shakles and we extended a drive shaft 5". So far it tracs really straight. Tires aren't balanced, brakes suck and tie rod is worn. I have about 2k invested in parts and labor. that also includes my $200 motor off here. Thanks to those that helped and gave me good deals on parts and Labor. Here's a couple pics.

something about its to much stress or somthing. i was looking for one to level out the rear on one and i couldnt find a good name brand like RE or rustys and etc.... posted up on naxja about it and got cursed out for trying to kill people and etc.....so you have had no problems?

My last rear set up was a rusty's 3.5" Full AAL, 2" Rough Country Shackle, and Rough Country's 1" steel block. It sat nice with the 6" front RK Springs. The rear sagged about half to a full inch over 4.5 years.

man those 38's dont look as big as i would have thought they might have. i got a set of 38.5 boggers for my xj but dont have axles or anything else for it yet.

looks good though. lets see some more pics

Once I get the front DS in and Bump stops made I will flex it some. I know the rear tucked and dropped really well the other night. I think the rear is so soft that the front wasn't forced to flex so it didn't hardly move. I need to trim some off the bottom Corners of the fenderwells.

Carry lots of spare front and rear parts.... those 38's wil eat your shafts alive. Then again I do have a heavy right foot! Looks good though!

Arms weren't strong enough.

I have since plated the arms with 1/4" plate. I have been trying to stress them to ensure that I don't have future problems. So far they are holding up great.

WOW!!! Where were you at?? I take it you got the front drive shaft in.

Sounds good. When I get done with mine, we should hit the trails, so I can make you look bad.:)

The JvilleJeeper guys are trying to hit URE the first weekend it opens. As for looking bad that won't be hard to do since I don't have the gears in yet. I have to build the antiwrp bar next.

I am hoping to have it done. I just need gears and antiwrap bar.

Man it was a bitch. I used a ratchet strap to hold the arm against the axle. Problem was going down the hill the brakes were too much on the other arm and when it dropped down a small rock the entire axle rolled and the other arm broke. That was the real bitch. The spring also shot out. I need to put in my retainers. I have them I just need to bolt them in. I also want to swap out the 6" springs and spacers for some 8" springs. I could also use some bump stops. I hope no one goes through that. I didn't know how the hell I was gonna get it down when the 2nd one broke. I was lucky I had my buddies and the guys from Wilmington there. Mad props to Erik again for having some insane brakes..

hehe, who needs hydroboost!?

i had my lined hooked up backwards in that video... after swapping them around it stopped even better and STRAIGHT, haha

in all fairness, it wasn't just my brakes, it was also your skinny pedal and the combined creativity of many! can't wait to go back this april so you can teach that rock a lesson!

I had to shorten the front. The rear I had was just too short. So was the Tom Woods that I had. I had it lengthened as well. No warranty since I bought it used.
