firing problems with jeep any ideas

jeep was misfiring replaced coil pack and cam position sensor worked tempoarily now coil pack burnt again any ideas? jeep would crank till it turned over twenty times and still run right or idle

What kind of Jeep? How about the spark plugs? Bad plugs can be hard on a coil packs.

its a jeep wrangler tj 6cy 4.0 just replaced the plugs

did it lose fire? if not check fuel pressure. low fuel pressure can cause popping, spitting

Check ground wires for good connections.

checked the fuel pressure and it was reading right. thought it could have been the plugs wires or fuel pump but they were all also fine then replaced the pick up coil and its still not running right

and then it burnt up the coil pack that was recently replaced a few days ago
