Picked up this first gen from TrailTrash back in August. Thanks to xtoy_boy for dragging it up the mountain for me. Been busting tail on it to make it ready for Fall Crawl.

When it rolled into the shop on August 24th...

Swapped out the Trail Gear 3" Springs for Rears Up Front while I had the whole front end apart. Welded up both thirds as well.

Cut and Ground off all the old bed mounts and cleaned up the frame a bit...

Relocated the fuel tank above the frame rails and out of the way. Typically serves well as a rock anchor...

So, speaking of all this cutting and grinding... you still have my grinder and sawzaw?

Looks like this one is coming along. What happened to the other one you had?

Scored a good deal on some dual cases w/ a new Marlin 4.7 Gearset...went down to Columbia SC on Thursday to get it.

Gotta get the rails, fork and shifter from the shop sometime this weekend and put it all back together and in the truck

Looking good Stretch. Make some rock sliders for that bitch.

Its almost all together. I need to finish the rear driveshaft and fill the diffs with gear oil and it should be good to go. Need to replace the water pump and add an electric fan before I take it out though since its not cooling well.

Got the 38's on today.

Next up is tube and propane.

You still owe me $25 fagbag. :flipoff2:

EDIT: I do like it though.

Been too busy with work and school to get a lot done on this thing...That and the garage had been overtaken by my buddy's blown up turbo project. :shaking:

Fixed my Tcases, got the cooling system fixed and chased a few electrical gremlins recently. Going to the exhaust shop this week, finally.

In prep for getting some of my tube work done I ordered up some new harnesses from Crow Enterprises...great quality for the money.

All the vacuum junk and the carb on this truck is :poop: so its coming off in place of a GotPropane kit after the holidays.
