FJ-60 lockers?

that the aussie locker is half the price of a detroit?

ohhhhh.....you wanna put cruiser axles in the rover.

there is all kinds of options. there is a factory cable locker if you can find a full float rear (very rare). Obviously theres detroit. there are some limited slips. and i think you can modify the housing to accept the TRD electric locker.

FJ60s should use the same lockers as an FJ40, I think the diffs are the same. I've got a complete FJ40 diff with a LockRight in it for sale, PM me if interested.

fj 80 e-lockers!

fj 80 e-lockers!

apparantly doesnt own an fj60.

that requires your axle to be full float, and unless you only want a locker in the front or you import your axle from another country (you may as well buy an entire fj80 axle) you cannot install an 80 series e-locker in the rear of a 60.

overseas there is also a cable actuated locker...but again, requires a fullfloat rear.

You like to put your foot in your mouth, huh? I have never met Dave (35XJ) , but we have many mutual friends, and I bet he knows as much about cruiser axles as anyone here.
I will let him explain.

toes taste funny.

im just a smart ass, take no offense to it.

an 80 series e locker is still a silly suggestion (for the rear anyway). with all the trouble, you might as well put a whole 80 series axle back there.

plus a disco is already coil sprung, if you luck out and end up with the spring cups being the same width (ive never checked) that would make the swap near bolt it. doubt it's that easy though.
