Flipping a Np-231 tranfer case

Can I flip an NP231 transfer case on an AW4 transmission to use a passenger side drop front axle in place of the driver side drop that is now set up for????

If you did, you would have to relocate the oil pump somehow. Just look for a dana 300. It should bolt up with no mods. I'm sure u would have to do something with shafts.

i think some chevy 231s were passenger drop. You can swap the inputs (and other parts) to match up to the trans.

An adapter ring and a hole in the floorboard (to clear the shifters) will get the 300 in there.
