Try this, remove fill plug. Fill with hydraulic jack oil. Cover the plug opening with something to deflect any fluid should it shoot out. Leave plug off. close valve & pump jack all the way up, Keep pumping once it tops out. This should expel any trapped air. If it wont go up on it's own try pulling it up & down a few times. If you can't get it going it may need new seals. Google the manufacturer to see if replacement seals are available. If you do get it to function properly, don't forget to then replace the fill plug!my floor jack won't lift anything any more. is there any way I can add fluid and bleed out the air that might be in there or should I just buy a new one?
thanks
