Can anyone verify the differences between the 2000-2004 Sterling 10.5 and the 2005 version. I know the 2005 is wider but from what I’ve read that’s all in the hubs. I know the brakes are bigger too. Will the earlier hubs and brakes work on the newer axle?
I’m gathering parts for a regear/ rebuild on a 2000 Excursion. I have access to the newer axle for free but didn’t want to tear into it without knowing if it would work.
