Ford 9" Locker ID

I traded an open 9" for one with some sort of posi unit in it..(I think) Just trying to determine what it is....
This came out of a '78 F150 with 3.50 gears.
Also, I have a set of axle shafts from a '79 Bronco 9" that I had laying around that I would like to
use for spares assuming they will work...Anybody know if there are any difference between truck and bronco 9" shafts?

It looks.... SORTA... like a Detroit. What can you see through those holes? Any dog teeth?

Edit: Trac-Lok? Looks like a better match... might be getting warmer....

Definitely a Trac-Loc, I just sold a 3rd with one a while back.

^ yup deff a factory trac lock, the open diffs look very similar but the bolts that hold the ring gear are not recessed like that.

axle shafts should be the same too.

thanks for the info.I was a little unsure on the shafts, they look a little different around the bearings. I'll try to post up a pic of that too.
