Just replaced my clutch (all equipment) and slave cylinder in my 2000 F150 V6. Everyting feels great but every 7-10 days i need to bleed the slave cylinder to get a full clutch pedal, nothing is leaking ANYWHERE!! Is the slave cylinder sucking air or maybe the the hydraulic line quick connect got damaged during the remove? I have a Bendix Slave Cylinder.

Any idea??

Thanks, John:confused:

Slave Cylinder

No signs of a leak and no fluid loss.

The slave cyl is bad. As the piston moves you are getting blow by. When you release the clutch the fork comes back futher. The piston can only move so much fluid, and does not pick up any more when released. I would guess. I buy bad new parts all the time.

Slave Cyl.

Thanks, that's what I didn't want to hear. I guess i'm pulling out the trans again.

Thanks:beer:
