wow...sucks for him

another one bites the dust:rolleyes:

Happens all the time up north. The ice fisherman will start driving on that crap before the whole lake is frozen. We used to actually have organized 1/4 mile oval ice races. The season usually ended when the first car fell through in the spring. I don't miss that kind of cold. :shaking:

That's the best thing that could happen to him, now he can go buy a real truck. :fuck-you:

hahahahah

thats awesome

thats a shame though, it looks like a good looking truck. wonder if he can get it out in the spring? would make a good farm truck after that.

Yup. Copied, pasted, and posted on fullsizebronco.com. Those pics are too good not to share.

So how badly do you think things under the hood get crunched/distorted from the ice expansio naround them?

They say southerners can't drive on snow and ice...
Well, apparently yankees can't either.

seeing as you seem to have knowledge of this kinda deal...

Driving along
Breaks thru Ice, lucky in his case, only a few feet deep
no real means of extracting so they leave it to freeze thru?

pretty much sum it up?

Nope. In Wisconsin the DNR would fine you $1500 + $150/day for it being in the water. Having seen it more than a few times what they will do is cut up the ice around the vehicle and get a wrecker down there to winch it out. If it is in deeper water they will send a diver down to hook it up and aid in the extraction. Others will call their car in as stolen if nobody saw them break through.

A hell of a lot better than you can. Just because it snows doesn't mean things close up there. :fuck-you:

Classic!

There must be a lot of cars at the bottom of lakes up north.

I had a buddy who loved to ice dive and he said you could find just about anything at the bottom of those lakes. Snowmobiles, atv's, cars and trucks, ice fishing shantys, boats, motors, etc.

Well neber drove my car on ice when I lived in CT..

but they used to use snow plows to clear the ice so we could play hockey :)

this was on rivers.. not lakes or ponds.. never saw a truck go in.. but it was crazy to watch them just turn off road and drive out onto ice and blow an ice skating area..

and then drive away liek it was nothing

If he was driving a Jeep.....He could have backed it right back out! LOL
Bwahahahah. if he was driving a jeep he wouldn't have made it to the lake before it broke!:flipoff2:

haha

i got a great one for reader's rides coming up too!
