I was coming back from an interview today and found a cell phone in the turn lane on hwy 150 in front of walmart. I tried to text the peeps in the phone but service was deactivated. I called "ma" in the phone book and she was actually on the phone with the manager at walmart and apparently the phone was stolen from her son in walmart (pickpocket?) She asked if I could delever the phone to Lowes Corporate and she would pay my gas so I did. Met her in the lobby of the gigantic building and she gave me $50 for a reward. Then she asked me what I do and told her I am looking for full time work and she asked if I have a resume and I actually had one with me so I handed it off. Comes to find out she is head of loss prevention at lowes, so she told me to go online and apply for some jobs that look good and send her the job numbers and she will talked to the hiring manager for me. She gave me her personal email and told me to contact her anytime.
So not only did I get a reward of cash I also made a contact at lowes corp. which is probibly worth more than $50. Just thought i would share. Yall know how bad it is to loose your sim card and contacts as well as a phone, so I feel good about my good deed. Hopefully it will work out w/ lowes. Never got a reward b4 so I might go play the lotto cause it is my lucky day.

Found a wallet one day at a gas station pump and went to the address on the driver's license. Guy answered the door and was completely dumb founded that I would drive to the address to make sure he got his stuff back. So he gave me the 10 out of it and a big thank you. I know I would hate to loose all the stuff I keep in my wallet. So I figured it was only right. I only got a big thanks and $10

helped push a woman's car out of my parking lot today, she paid me and my friend 20 bucks each for doing it

Ironic too, because this was the one car out of 5 or so that have been stuck that I went to help (mostly because the other 4 people I knew and really don't care for...)

That just reminded me to get the "If Found" app for my iPhone..

It's what works best for my needs... Portable music, cell phone, apps, and aftermarket radios that will natively control the music player.. Something lacking for any other device.

Good Job, It pays to do the right thing.

There was a wallet found on I40 a few weeks back close to town, it was in the paper, The guy turned it in to the police dept, It had $1500 in cash in, turns out it was a contractor that had gotten paid for a roofing job right before it was lost, He had worked on a job the day he had the cash that was a boat shed roof on lake Hickory, he even hired a diver to look in the lake. It had been lost for a month. It was found when a box blew out of a guys truck on 40 and he went to pick it up and the wallet was in the snow beside it. He got an award not sure how much. He said the look on the contractors face when he got it back was almost reward enough.

Yeah, they do some neat stuff. Unfortunately, they're pretty terrible telephones. If you call me, I can't understand anything you say, then your phone drops the call, I'll bet $20 you're on an iPhone.

Awesome man! I went to Monster Jam last year and found a girls license wrapped in 6 20s. Looked her up address up online and got in touch with her mom. Mailed the license and wallet to her. It's a great feeling!
