was going thru the world wide web and found this site that said that FOX 2.0 shocks have internal bumpstops. really?

They might be A) talking about shaft mounted poly bumpstops that are inside the coils--typical on atvs and dirtbikes, B) talking about air shocks, or C) making shit up.

Sounds like they are talking about air shocks. You did the right thing by adding air bumps and yes do run limit straps. The reason I say run a limit strap is simple, it takes wear and tear off the shick itself...
