Thats right! To add to the excitement, Saturday night after the ECORS race we will organize a freestyle/long jump contest on the big jump in the field at DPG.
It'll be under the lights and Ron and I will organize it according to how many people sign up. What we expect is that everyone will have 2 or 3 jumps that will be scored on a 1-10 scale by 3 judges. Then the top 3 or 4 will move on to the final round where the crowd will choose the winner.
$10 to enter, 50/50 split on the pot and a trophy plus all the bragging rights that goes with it. I'm sure you'll be all over You Tube too!
This is open to ANYONE sober and 18 years old min. in any vehicle that has 4 wheels (2WD OK) and a seat belt. If you have an old car, truck, or van, bring it on. Crowd favorites win this. It doesn't have to be the longest jump but its got to look good or be balls out!
Remember, you do not have to be an ECORS racer to sign up. Just come on out, watch the race for the day and hang around to watch or compete in this contest! Its just $10!!!
